On January
11-12, 2008 around 20 schools came together for the first national Student
Veterans of America (SVA) conference in Chicago, IL. Since this time, more than
60 schools have joined SVA in the fight for a new GI Bill and address the issues
facing student veterans nationwide. In early June, SVA will be having it’s 2nd
conference in Washington, D.C.
